Carter Ryan {1 year old!} 03.28.10

My sweet, adorable (and I swear I'm not biased - he really is - okay, maybe a little biased....) nephew Carter turned 1-year-old on April 2! We had so much fun with his 1-year photos... quite possibly the most fun I've ever had during a photo session. Not only did we take some adorable pix of him in his GQ sweater vest outfit, but we did a cake smash! I fully prepared Ryan and Pam for the idea that he may not be interested in the cake, but we'll just smash it up, rub some frosting on his face, and get some cute pictures. Well, Carter sure proved me wrong! He knew exactly what he was doing! So much fun! I also made a cute collage of the cake smash photos for his birthday party. SO. MUCH. FUN!
