Luke Joseph, 2 weeks old - 02.01.10

There is nothing quite so wonderful as a brand new baby! One of my dear friends welcomed Luke Joseph into the world on January 15, and I was lucky enough to take his newborn photos earlier this week. He's such a sleepy little sweetie, and I loved spending time with him and his awesome big sister, my goddaugther, Madeline. Congrats again Kippes family, on your precious new arrival!

Newborn Session - $125

Session Info

Your session includes:

An unlimited number of pictures, poses and people combinations in the allotted time (outfit changes too, if you want!).

Digital enhancement of "best" images after your session: 25-30 images for a full session.

A cd of your digitally enhanced photos after the session (allow 1-2 weeks for images to be completed) both in color and black & white. While the photographer retains full rights to the images themselves, the cd includes is a full print release to print your images from a photo lab of your choice. (The photographer does offer prints, but there is no purchase requirement).

A consultation before the session (by phone or e-mail, whatever works best) to discuss those "must have" shots for your session, as well as possible post-processing preferences (black and white, sepia, color, etc).

A satisfaction guarantee! As an on-location photographer, I realize that Mother Nature does not always cooperate! As a mother, I realize that kids don't always cooperate! If the circumstances aren't right on the day of your session, I offer a rescheduled session at no additional charge, or a full refund if rescheduling is not possible. However, if you choose a refund after a session has been completed, I will retain the images from your session.

Printing options: I do work with a professional printing lab and can offer professional lab prints in standard sizes, as well as many other print options like gallery canvas wraps, photo gifts, etc. Please inquire for print pricing information.

Design options: I also offer custom designed photo Christmas cards, invitations, announcements, etc. Please inquire for design pricing information.

The Snyder-Martin Family

My brother and sister-in-law had family visiting over the holidays, and wanted to get some pictures of the whole group before everyone left town. They asked me to come help out with getting the pictures and I was happy to oblige! It was a cold, snow-crusted days so we made do in their living room. So here's my brother with his lovely in-laws, the Snyder's!

Four generations...
Love this one of Sarah and Noah!

The Martin-Morrissey Family, 11.27.09

Shortly after shooting my "biggest family to date," I once again shot my biggest family to date! This family was a group of 12! Parents, then their two children and their spouses and children! The Martin-Morrissey clan was a pleasure to work with, and made photographing a family of 12 seem like a snap! I can only hope it's always this easy with a big group! Thanks again guys! These are my faves from their session...

The whole big group (including great-grandma)!

Noah Christopher, 3 months old!

We did Noah's 3 months pictures a little bit early, on Thanksgiving! And we almost thought we weren't going to be able to do them at all that day because the little guy slept through the whole family get together! But he woke up and dazzled me with his adorable smile and those drop-dead sparkling eyes! Big sister Kate jumped in for a couple of photos too! I love my niece and nephew! :)

The Easter Family, 11.22.09

One might think it's easier to take pictures of your friends and their families, but as time goes by, I'm realizing that while on the one hand it is fun and laid back and easy... it is often even harder than taking pictures of complete strangers! The pressure is on, from my standpoint, to make things PERFECT, and the idea of failing at getting great family pictures for your friends is stressful! For this reason, I was super nervous to take pictures of my best friend Castara and her family, including her mom and brother, and her husband's mom and brother. My biggest group to date, 8 people! But despite my nerves, and Kadin (3) and Ashton (1)'s complete lack of interest in having their picture taken AT ALL, I think we got some great shots for their family! Best part, we had a lot of fun doing it - well, I did at least. I know from experience that family pictures are never for for the parents! :) So without further ado, the Easter and Stroman families!
